Asset Management

Synergy Housing Group has devised a series of key strategic initiatives covering areas such as planned improvements, asset management, decent homes and energy and asbestos management.

 

The Asset Management department provide technical support services to Group members in the following areas:

 

Planned Improvements

asset workmanThe management of planned maintenance contracts such as the replacement of kitchens, bathrooms, boilers, central heating systems, windows and doors.

 

Redecoration


The external and internal redecoration of properties based on a 5 year rolling programme.

 

Planned Servicing Contracts


The maintenance and improvement of specialist mechanical and electrical equipment such as fire alarms, lifts, communal heating, warden call systems, etc.

 

Gas Servicing

The annual servicing and repair of domestic gas appliances such as boilers and fires.

 

Electrical Testing and Improvements


A programme of electrical testing and improvements to ensure compliance with current wiring regulations.

 

Asbestos Management and Removal


The inspection, sampling and management of materials hazardous to health, including the removal of asbestos, in accordance with Health and Safety legislation.

 

Energy Management


The implementation of a wide range of energy saving initiatives such as cavity and loft insulation, heating installations and improvements, fuel swaps and energy conservation advice.

 

Building Surveys and Inspections


Including the inspection of properties for major improvement works, stock condition surveys, leaseholder consultation, Right To Buy requests etc.

 

Decent Home Plus

Decent Homes (Plus) standard ensures that your home is maintained and improved above the minimum standard set by the Government.
